CLIMATE

Living Heritage Koslanda is located in the Eastern Hills of Sri Lankla  at an average elevation of 1,800ft, therefore the climate is cooler & less humid than coastal areas but not as chilly as the higher hill country of Nuwara Eliya & Bandarawela. Pack for fresh mornings, warm days and slightly cooler evenings.  The climate at Koslanda is ideal year round, however the best time to visit is between May and September with almost no rainfall..Even during the short monsoon it is a magical place to be with usually bright mornings and some rain in the afternoons . During a heavy downpour curl up with a book, have a nap or watch the rains roll in over the hills .
